Quality Support Specialist Full Time


The position will assist with managing contract compliance, assist with overseeing the following: Risk Management for Florida region, Quality and Compliance, Health and Safety, assist and facilitate with all medical records request, train staff on appropriate data entry, also train on Welligent and/or non-Welligent databases. The Quality Support Specialist analyzes and responds to Risk Management, Quality and Compliance, Health/Safety issues, medical records, administrative and data/training matters in a professional and timely manner.


Completes and build graphs, charts, etc. on monthly basis to provide to Supervisor at month end or as requested.
Completes Large Data Management Projects as requested
Backup to completing Voter Registration Report Quarterly into SharePoint.
Back up to completing mandatory weekly and monthly compliance reports required by DCF or applicable funder then places these into SharePoint or appropriate database.
Requests and follows up on data entry corrections from management and staff.
Medical Records
Medical Records Assistant- Administrative, Residential and Outpatient Florida
Risk Management
Assist in overseeing the entire Florida region Risk Management and chairs committee and completing meeting minutes.
Assist in managing all incident related items to make sure all documentation is accurate, entered timely, follows up with manager/directors and provides feedback to Supervisor.
Follow up on mandated drills to ensure compliance.
Health and Safety
Assist in overseeing the Florida region Health and Safety and chairs committee and completing meeting minutes.
Continuous meetings to update Policy and procedures regarding health and safety.
Follow up on mandated drills to ensure compliance.
Quality Improvement/ Quality Assurance
Assists with regions Quality program and sits on QI committee.
Assist in completing chart audits within Florida region.
Oversees health and safety compliance throughout Florida Region.
Oversees and assist directors with Clinical Transformation items
Provides Training as needed for entire Region of Florida. Trainings consist of instant trainings online, over the phone walk through training and traveling to site for hands on training.
Assist, train, and consult with other Staff as needed.
Assist with Relias (e-learning database)- backup.
Assist with Welligent Support permissions
Updates Relias when applicable
Assist Outpatient Psych doctors with all appointments, correspondence, and uploads into EHR system.
Assist with CARF preparedness as needed.
Pursue continuing education of applicable software and hardware.
Participate in departmental and other meetings as requested.
Assist in covering front desk and completes front desk duties to include drug screens as needed.
Complete other tasks as assigned.
Assist Finance Department with gathering month end documents from program for monthly invoice submission.

HS Diploma/Equivalent Required, Bachelors Preferred

Minimum 5 years current office experience or equivalent combination of education, training, and healthcare experience.

Electronic health record (EHR) experience preferred.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Access and Excel.
