Description:Under the supervision of the production supervisor, the picker is responsible for performing various tasks to ensure the production has the material they need at the times they need it. The picker is responsible for communicating any discrepancies in inventory levels to the appropriate sources. Good communication with production leads and supervisors is necessary for success.
Picking will be done through use of RF Barcode Scanners, Bill of Materials, and various other forms listing the required materials needed for production. Equipment to be used but not limited to picking carts, pallet jacks, industrial motorized vehicles. All work done will be following OSHA, Hazmat, and EPA standards and PPE standards will always be met.
. Requirements:MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Duties will include but not be limited to:
Pulls and packs product based on daily orders.
Meets specifics of customer orders in a timely manner.
Keeps products separated, organized and in good rotation.
Monitors product quality frequently, reporting problems to mitigate safety issues.
REQUIREMENTS
Attention to detail
Ability to lift at least 50lbs.
Willing to perform repetitive tasks while sitting or standing for extended periods of time.
Effective verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
