Cocktail Server
The Cove at the San Luis Resort – Galveston, TX
The Cocktail Server will provide timely, courteous service, ensuring excellence in guest satisfaction.
Essential Duties & Functions:Ensure guest satisfaction by providing attentive, friendly, and courteous service
Meticulous knowledge of cocktail/food menus, upselling and promoting specials
Communicate orders clearly with bar and kitchen staff
Complete opening/closing checklist according to standards
Keep lounge area clean and immaculate at all times
Follows all cash handling policies and prepares closing report for night audit
Requirements:1 year Server experience preferred
High School diploma or equivalent and/or experience in a hotel or a related field
Ability to multi task
Excellent people skills
Flexibility in work schedule
Ability to show initiative in job performance, including anticipating what needs to be done before it becomes a necessity
Full knowledge of state liquor laws
