Your Role
The Warehouse Team Member handles shipping and receiving materials, merchandise, and supplies as needed for an education company. The ideal candidate must promote a clean, friendly and in-stock work environment. These Warehouse Team Member roles will be part-time (20-30 hours per week) positions, with more hours given in our peak weeks. For these roles, we are offering $9 – $11 per hour plus overtime.
This role is a great opportunity to get your foot in the door, be part of our warehouse founding team and to learn more about Montessori education and the process of setting up new schools. We are excited to find people who want to expand their skillset to lead set up teams and even deliver the materials to our new campuses.
The essential job functions include, but are not limited to:
Execute duties as assigned by Warehouse Supervisor
Maintain safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet area, and workstations tidy
Maintaining clean supply area; complying with procedures, rules, and regulations
Execute inventory product rotation
Assembly of furniture
Picking, packing, and shipping materials as directed
Ship and Receive product in accordance with Company protocol
Update labels on materials
Perform other duties as required and/or assigned
Must be available Monday-Friday 9am-5pm with occasional evening and weekend during peak shipping and receiving times of year.
Maintain regular and prompt attendance
Must be able to lift and move packages up to 70lbs
Occasional company paid travel will be required
Employee must be able to perform essential functions of the job with or without reasonable accommodation
About You:
Previous warehouse or stockroom experience preferred
High School degree or equivalent
Work a rotating schedule that alternates between day and evening as needed
Valid Drivers Licenses with a clean driving record
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States of America
Agree to and pass a background check
Maintain regular and prompt attendance
