Di An Di is a Vietnamese restaurant and bar with a focus on modern and traditional Vietnamese fare recently awarded a Michelin Plate. We’ve been featured in Bon Appetit, Eater, The Infatuation, NY Mag’s Grub Street, etc. Located in Greenpoint, Brooklyn, we aim to be a staple for our neighborhood and a destination for New Yorkers and beyond. Positions available:
Runner / Backwaiter is a dual position that plays a vital role in the service team with responsibilities that can encompass setting up the dining room, setting tables, clearing tables, pouring water, running food, working with servers and expediters, resetting the dining room, polishing glassware and other various tasks that support service at the restaurant. We’re hiring for full-time (5-6 shifts/wk).
Host plays a critical role for the restaurant as the first and last point of contact for our guests. Your responsibilities including greeting and seating guests, menu upkeep, use of the Resy app for waitlist and reservation handling, resetting of tables and other various tasks. We’re hiring for full-time (5-6 shifts/wk) and/or part-time (3-4 shifts/wk).
Requirements:
• must have restaurant experience
• reliable and punctual
• comfortable in fast-paced, high volume restaurant
• quick on your feet, good endurance
• team player, team-first attitude

Compensation will be hourly and is based on the experience of the individual + tips from the tip pool.
