Position overview:
To support the Beverage Departments Operation by performing glass washing operations and maintaining cleanliness in assigned bar pantries.
Position Duties:
- To arrive at work on time in a clean, company-specified uniform. Always follow the Carnival Look book.
- Always comply with fun time procedures.
- Pick up bar supplies from storeroom as instructed by Beverage Operations Manager.
- To operate the glass washing machine and ensure it is in good working condition, stocked with detergent & rinse aid, and is cleaned at the end of every shift.
- To ensure that waste bins are emptied, cleaned, and replaced.
- Ensure that the bar is cleaned according to established USPH standards at the close of the shift. Responsible for cleaning of glass wash machines, floors, walls, ceiling, drains, light covers, etc.
- Wash fruit trays and return to Buffet pantry at the end of the shift.
- Switch off all lights in the bar after cleaning is done.
- Close all the assigned bars and return the key to the bar office.
- To report to the beverage management on duty any equipment that malfunctions.
- To liaise with the bartender and carry out any other duty as required.
- To perform other duties as per management instructions.
- Assist bar servers/bartenders to wash glasses.
Position Minimum requirements:
- Minimum 1 years experience in a Bar or nightclub.
- Fluency in conversational English, be hospitable, with a positive attitude, and ability to self-motivate.
- Well-groomed and follows proper hygienic practices.
- Must be physically strong and able to lift a minimum of 60 lbs to sustain physically challenging work. Must understand the potential for career development.
