SERVER ASSISTANT JOB DESCRIPTION
We are looking to employ a hardworking and dedicated server assistant to provide assistance to our servers and ensure that tables are cleared, cleaned, and properly set for patrons. The server assistant’s responsibilities include managing to-go orders, preparing and refilling beverages, assisting servers with processing payments, removing trash, and sanitizing restaurant menus. You should also be able to perform end-of-day clean-up duties.
To be successful as a server assistant, you should be well-organized and able to work in a fast-paced environment. Ultimately, an outstanding server assistant should demonstrate effective communication skills and achieve excellent customer service at all times.
SERVER ASSISTANT RESPONSIBILITIES:
Priorities
– Run food / drinks and bus tables
– Bag ALL to go orders and manage Uber and Doordash orders
– Service Walk-in / Take-out customers that want to place to-go order
– Answer the phone
– Ensure to-go containers, hot sauce, soy sauce are ready for dinner service
Secondary Priorities
– Support Servers and Bartenders with any reasonable requests. Examples include but not limited too:
– Wash, dry, & put away glassware, during dinner service if bar is slammed
– Fill ice wells with ice as necessary
– Grab mixers, juices, garnishments, simple syrup, chopsticks, napkins, coasters, to-go containers & cups, etc…upon request
– Remove trash and; recycle
