Topwater Grill Hiring Bartenders (San Leon, TX)

Topwater Grill is a thriving waterfront restaurant located in San Leon, TX. We are a customer-centric establishment with a very large customer base. We operate high volume under a fast-paced work flow in a fun working environment.
Topwater Grill opened on May 27, 1999. An iconic Gulf Coast waterfront dining hideaway enjoyed by locals, fishermen and families alike for over twenty-four years. Topwater Grill embodies the coastal causal seafood dining experience while exuding the relaxing vibes that often accompanies a lighthearted saltwater lifestyle from Texas Gulf Coast establishments of years gone by. Priority number one at Topwater Grill is harvesting, serving and preparing fresh Gulf Coast seafood for our guests. Exceeding our guests’ expectations and providing them a relaxing and enjoyable experience is our goal every day, for every customer.

We are looking for a seasoned and motivated individual to join our team as a bartender. Daily job requirements are to greet and serve customers in a friendly and engaging way while upholding all legal and safe bartending practices. The right candidate will have at least one year of previous bartending experience, exceptional customer service skills and great communication skills.
Responsibilities:
• Provide consistently high-quality service to customers
• Show up to work on time every day
• Adhere to all local and national liquor laws
• Mix, serve and garnish drinks that consistently meet management expectations
• Greet guests in a timely and friendly manner to take their order
• Process cash and credit card transactions following appropriate procedures
• Maintain a safe and clean bar at all times for guests and co-workers
• Carry out tasks with an attention to detail, cleanliness and safety
• Be respectful and kind to ownership, management and co-workers
• Assist with inventory and inventory control
Qualifications:
• High school diploma or GED
• TABC Seller Training Certification
• Texas Food Handlers Certification
• One year bar experience or similar environment
• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Basic mathematical skills
• Be able to work in standing position for long periods of time
• Strong knowledge of spirits, wine, champagne and mixed cocktails a plus
• Strong customer service skills and interpersonal skills necessary
• Ability to read and speak English proficiently
