Seeks Individual with Experience to Wash, Dry, Iron clothes and linens:
40 hours per week, Flexible Hours
Laundry duties include the laundering and ironing of household linens and the clothing of the residents. Mending and use of steam irons, iron-on labeling, and dry-cleaning alternative techniques are additional skills required for this job.
ESSENTIAL JOB REQUIREMENTS & RESPONSIBILITIES
>>Ability to pass Level II Background Screening
>>Ability to identify fabrics and know/learn the proper care for clothing. Knowledge of how to launder and press all fabrics.
>>Organization and sorting of all household laundry – Hand Delivery of items in residents’ closets
>>Safely and Effectively ironing linens and clothing as needed
>>Operation of equipment that will be used to clean linens and clothing (washing machines, dryers, irons, etc.)
>>Maintenance of the laundry room – keeping it clean and organized
