Gus’s is a full-service restaurant serving beer and wine, alongside what is arguably the best-fried chicken in the world. Gus’s is the winner of the National Fried Chicken Festival, has been featured on multiple shows on Travel Channel and Food Network, and we have been featured in numerous articles including Forbes, GQ, Garden & Gun, Southern Living, and many, many more. We do not take all we have earned lightly, and we are looking for a passionate candidate that will work to earn these accolades alongside their team, every piece, every time.
Who Are We Looking For?

Restaurant Server ($120 – 350) per shift every shift!!
Gus’s World Famous Fried Chicken is looking for an experienced PM server to join our ranks. Must have at least 2 years experience, TABC license, and Food Handlers. NO tip out NO tip pool and tips are received in cash at the end of the shift! Tips are usually between $120 and $350 per shift depending on buisness. We do not put tips on checks and servers take home their money at the end of every shift! We are located downtown and next to the convention center so we experience very high volume especially during conventions and SXSW. Because we mostly serve out of town guests, we never have an off season! We will be looking for someone who has open availability and can work full time. Our hours of operation are 11:00 AM – 9:00 PM Sunday – Thursday and 11:00 AM – 10:00 PM Friday and Saturday.
