Key Responsibilities:
- Setting up workstations with necessary ingredients and cooking equipment
- Preparing ingredients for cooking, such as chopping and peeling vegetables and cutting meat
- Skillfully cooking food using a variety of kitchen tools and equipment
- Overseeing the food during cooking process, making adjustments as needed
- Packaging meals with attention to presentation and food safety standards
- Maintaining a sanitized and orderly kitchen environment
- Ensuring proper storage of food and other items
- Conducting quality checks of ingredients before cooking
Preferred Candidate:
- Experience in a professional kitchen
- Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail
- Proficiency in using various ingredients and diverse cooking techniques
- Familiarity with cutting tools, cookware, and bakeware
- Knowledge of various cooking procedures and methods (grilling, baking, boiling etc.)
- Ability to adhere to all sanitation procedures
- Excellent team player with strong communication skills
