JOB TITLE: Heavy Equipment Operator
Class: Full-Time
Exemption Status: Non-Exempt
JOB SUMMARY:
Bulk Express Transport is looking for Heavy Equipment Operator with experience loading vehicles. This role offers steady work on a fixed schedule from Monday to Saturday.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Load vehicles correctly and efficiently.
• Perform and document daily inspections on the equipment.
• Communicate and report to Field Supervisor on breakdowns and operation needs.
• Service, grease and clean the machine on daily basis.
• Work with the scale system to put the maximum allowed weight on the vehicles.
REQUIREMENTS:
• Minimum of 1 year of experience loading vehicles.
• Experience operating Front End loader (CAT 950) and Grapple Excavator (Volvo EC220).
• Be able to work night shift if needed.
• Must be able to communicate with Field supervisor, fleet manager, drivers and client’s representatives.
• Follow thoroughly the safety rules and procedures.
• Flexibility to work extra hours.
