Duties/Responsibilities:
· Wrapping, stacking, sorting, and banding lumber.
· Handle lumber, plywood, and other building materials as needed to place material in stock and straighten stock.
· Maintain inventory in yard and keep things organized.
· Maintains the cleanliness and appearance of the yard by keeping ground free of clutter including bands, chocks, and trash.
· Able to complete accurately receiving documents and work orders.
· Performs routine yard and warehouse maintenance (sweeping/cleaning) Keeps own and adjacent work area clean.
· Responsible for adhering to all safety policies and practices
· Responsible to pull customer orders in anticipation of will call and/or delivery. Attention to detail via the shipping document is critical.
· Ensure that the correct materials and quantities are selected and properly loaded onto vehicles.
· Inspect incoming and outgoing lumber for quality, identifying any defects, and damage

· Ability to read a tape measure.

Education and Experience:
· High School Diploma/GED
Physical Requirements:
· Ability to bend, reach with hands and arms, climb or balance, sit, stoop, kneel and crouch.
· Ability to lift and/or move between 50 – 100 lbs.
· Exposure to the elements – heat, cold, rain, wind, and snow.

- 10 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday

- Lubbock, TX: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

- Warehouse experience: 1 year (Preferred)
