Landen’s Early Leaning Academy is looking for qualified cook to join our team to help provide nutritious meals to support quality childcare and education to our children in a safe and social environment. We provide compassionate care to all the children we serve in the Dekalb county community.
Responsibilties
Preparare 2 meals and 1 snack for the children at the center each day
Prepare meal in accordance with the Child and Adult Food Program
Prepare and serve attractive, nutrionally balanced meals for the children
Maintain high standards of food quality production and portion control suing standard recipes and also appropriate quanities of food needed to meet menu requirements.
Ensure food is stored and handled properly, and that the kitchen and equipment are thorougly sanitary.
- Must be at least 18 years of age and in possession of high school diploma or equivalent
- Applicants must have at least one year of experience in meal planning and preparation, knowledge of early childhood nutrition, and experience working with groups of children.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $10.00 – $12.00 per hour
