Our original location at Upper Kirby is now hiring experienced wine-passionate candidates. If you are well-versed in wine knowledge, wine service, and a positive team leader––this is the place for you!
Sonoma Wine Bar at Upper Kirby is known for its rotating wine flights and wines from around the world, seasonal small plates, gourmet pizzas and build-your-own cheese and charcuterie boards. Guests love our comfy seating areas, spacious dog-friendly covered patio, see-through fireplace and private dining room.
You’ll work an average of 40 hour or less per week, earning upwards of $4,000.00 or more per month in tips alone. Plus, you’ll earn an hourly starting at $10.00 and goes up based on experience and wine knowledge.

Must have at least 3 years experience in a fine-dining restaurant and/or wine bar to apply.
Responsibilities include:
– Excellent menu knowledge
– Excellent customer service
– Assist guests with menu choices
– Assist guests with their reservations
– Assist with setting up for events
– Be a key holder, responsible for either opening the shift or closing the shift
– Weekly inventory
– Receive deliveries
– Stock wine
This position is required to have a valid TX Manager’s Food Certificate and be TABC Certified.
