At UPR we receive goods, assemble parts and accessories, as well as pack and ship hundreds of items per day to our customers and dealers.
A successful candidate would work in our Team UPR environment to make sure all items are received, assembled, packed correctly, and stored in our warehouse accordingly.
Business Hours are Monday through Friday 8 AM to 6 PM, Saturdays as needed during peak times.
This is an entry-level position.
Requirements are as follows:
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and organization skills
• Good analytical and problem solving skills
• Prior warehouse work experience
• Experience in part or product assembly and following assembly procedures/instructions.
• Knowledge of operating a forklift is preferred
• Ability to work independently and safely
• Experience using a variety of tools to perform assembly tasks, such as wrenches, drills, shop press, etc.
• Experience with blueprints or assembly directions is preferred
• Detail-oriented and ability to multi-task
• Strong computer skills. You will print assembly instructions and product labels on a daily basis.
• Receiving and documenting merchandise for warehouse stock or return
• Maintain the company stockroom through organizing, cleaning and replenishing stock items on a regular basis
• Place merchandise in the warehouse by packaging, lifting items as necessary, operating forklifts and pallet jacks for larger goods
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time, use ladders, and lift boxes / items up to 50lbs.
