Encompass is one of the country’s largest suppliers of parts to repair products throughout the home. At our distribution centers located in Georgia, Florida, New York and Nevada, we stock parts from 200+ world-leading brands like Whirlpool, GE, Samsung, LG, Sony, Panasonic and Vizio.
What Will I Be Doing Day-to-Day?
We have a variety of positions available at our warehouses, so you may start off in one area and then move on to another task depending on what needs to get done. Our goal in the warehouse is to pick, pack and ship the right parts fast for our valued customers – which is our reason for existing. You are critical to our success, making you a company VIP.
What Skills Do I Need?
You won’t be lugging around car tires or gigantic TV sets, but you should be fit enough to walk a few miles a day (just think: no need for a gym membership!). You also need to be able to bend down, reach overhead and lift/carry boxes as necessary.
We’re not looking for computer nerds, so as long as you’re comfortable using a smart phone, you should be able to operate the handheld scanners you’ll use on the job.
We can teach you the job, but we can’t teach a work ethic. Most importantly you need to be an enthusiastic team player who’s flexible to help out others when needed. Slackers need not apply as being a VIP means you take pride in your accuracy and speed to get the job done right.
Candidates must also be at least 18-years-old, and employment depends on a criminal background check – it’s not that we don’t trust you, but we’ve got to play by the rules.
What’s the Work Environment Like?
If you enjoy stuffy office life and sitting down all day, this is not the job for you! We offer a friendly, casual, team-oriented workplace where your efforts will be recognized and rewarded. Dress Down
No uniforms, although we provide you an Encompass T-shirt to wear when you want, as well as a washable face mask. Dress in your comfy clothes within reason – since we’re all professional people working around heavy machinery, please leave the bathrobe and slippers at home, along with any revealing club-type clothing. We know you’re fly; you don’t have to show it!
You Can Dance if You Want To
Just because you can’t wear your clubbing outfits doesn’t mean you can’t dance through the aisles to your next pick if you want! You supply the moves, and we supply the high-energy music through speakers located throughout the warehouse,
Free Nike Airs
Yep, that’s right! Each team member receives a brand new pair of Nike Air Zoom Pegasus running shoes. We foot the bill because we’re solely focused on your comfort and wellbeing! (See what we did there? Who doesn’t love a good shoe pun?)
Special Events & Recognition
At Encompass, there IS such a thing as a free lunch! We often break out the grill for team BBQs or cater in special meals. We also celebrate the holidays with costumes and decorating contests.
As a VIP, you’ll have plenty of opportunity to show us your mad picking skills. Try to beat your best time for picks per hour and compete against your team members.
Bring Your Foosball Skills
All work and no play is no fun! On your lunch break, head over to the newly-renovated breakroom that has a wide variety of fresh and packaged food for sale, along with a microwave and refrigerator. And be sure to bring your A game as you’ll be able to challenge your teammates on our foosball table.
Ice Ice Baby
We’ve got giant fans to keep the warehouse cool, and when our associates asked for an ice machine, we delivered. Keep yourself and your water bottles icy all day!
That’s All Good, But What About the Pay?
What?! Free ice isn’t enough for you? Not to worry – you get paid hourly (with some overtime as needed) every two weeks on Thursday. Other benefits include:
