Summary
Provides technical assistance and administrative coordination in order to ensure quality anesthesia services and optimal patient outcomes under the supervision of the Registered Nurse. Assists anesthesiologists with induction, spinal, and epidural anesthesia. Stocking anesthesia supplies in OR’s, epidural carts, and supply rooms. Carries out environmental sanitation, equipment cleaning and stocking, maintenance, and storage functions within the Labor and Delivery area. Assists with the transport and/or positioning of women of childbearing age experiencing the delivery process. Taking specimens to lab. Transportation of specimens to pathology. Works flexible hours and is on call nights, weekends, and holidays. May need to work beyond the regular tour of duty as assigned by the Department Head or Nursing Supervisor.

Education
Required: High School diploma or GED.
Experience: 6 months to 1 year
Certification: BLS
