In order to qualify for this assistant teacher position, you must be at least 18 years of age and have a high school diploma (or equivalent).
During the hiring process, you will be fingerprinted for level II background screening. If you haven’t taken any training before, there are online health/safety courses (or 40 clock hours) that you can take before hire. Also, we require first aid and CPR certification. We will provide guidance with how to obtain these courses.
Also, you will complete a drug/tb screening, which we set up for you with our local medical clinic.
Once hired, you will be working with experienced lead teachers in the classroom environment. You can then receive practical experience as well as learning about and taking courses to further your understanding and expertise in this field.
