As an Assistant Trainer, you would provide training to the patient service coordinators. In addition to training and supporting the PSC role, you may need to fill in when a clinic is temporarily short staffed in patient services coordinators.
Our ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, has previous customer service experience, enjoys teaching and helping others and takes initiative to get things done.
Responsibilities:
Learn, perform and teach others the duties of the Patient Services Coordinator position
Provide training and orientation to all new PSCs on company standards, billing policies and procedures, CPAS, scheduler and all other duties of the PSCs
Serve as a mentor and resource for all PSCs
Assists PSC Regional Trainer with interviewing and hiring of PSCs as needed
Ensure compliance with all front desk and billing related tasks
Qualifications:
A minimum of high school diploma; an Associate’s degree or certificate is preferred
Previous customer service experience strongly preferred
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite – Word and Excel is required
Proficient in data entry and management
Strong time management and organizational skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Good problem-solving skills with high attention to detail
High level of personal integrity, reliability and honesty
Has ability to travel as needed through local region
