Position Summary: The Shipping and Receiving Clerk?s main responsibility is distributing and maintaining record of received and outbound shipments. This associate assures proper control of parts inventory and related administrative functions.
Job Responsibilities:
Packages and mails parts
Stocks incoming inventory
Assists with part returns
Assist drivers loading and unloading of delivery trucks
Maintains parts area organized, clean, safe, and uncluttered.
Assists in preparing for and performing annual parts inventory
Package and ship core returns in a timely manner.
Package for return and/or scrap parts being held for factory claims and warranty returns.
Distribute incoming packages to other departments.
Maintains close working relationship with counter salesperson and drivers on the shipping and receiving of parts.
Requirements:
Excellent communication, listening and organizational skills.
Maintain a professional, respectable and well-groomed appearance.
Possess a courteous, friendly and outgoing demeanor.
Ability to speak and communicate clearly.
Possess a high school diploma or GED.
Valid driver’s license.
Ability to handle machinery safely
