Jacaranda Country Club in Plantation is searching for an energetic and service-oriented individual to join our longstanding team as Banquet Captain. We’re looking for the following skill sets:
Knowledge of front-of-house banquet and group event operations
Ability to meet deadlines while maintaining company standards
Excellent customer service skills with both event hosts and guests
Ability to supervise and direct service staff to execute event details including set up, in-service and breakdown
Ability to coordinate front-of-house operations with back-of-house production
Experience needed:
Minimum six months as Banquet Captain, Dining Room Supervisor or Catering Manager/Assistant Manager OR
2 years or more as Banquet Server and Bartender with some supervisory duties OR
Recent graduate of accredited hospitality school with emphasis on food and beverage service
Position is part time, but full time work is possible if interested in working in multiple capacities and positions. Must be able to work weekends and/or evenings as needed. Excellent opportunity for advancement for the right candidate! Please e-mail current resume/CV.
