We are looking for responsible, HARDWORKING, friendly, experienced baristas to join our small team.
Who We Are:
Mug & Cup Coffee is a Brooklyn and Manhattan based Coffee Shop dedicated to pushing the limits in the relentless pursuit of coffee perfection. We pride ourselves on providing organic, fair trade tea and coffee. We work with local dairy suppliers and bakeries to source the freshest, highest quality offerings.
What Are We Looking For:
At Mug and Cup Coffee, you’ll need to be capable of: preparing breakfast items, coffee, juices, crafting excellent milk based espresso drinks (latte art +), etc. You must be able to follow directions, be responsible (that means on time and cleanly), and handle a line of customers, all while being friendly, engaging and courteous to our awesome customers. And since we are a small outfit, it’s a great place to learn but it also requires everyone to wear a number of different hats in the shop. It also requires someone who can work independently and proactively look for tasks to accomplish throughout the day without being micromanaged.
We have an immediate opening for part-time barista (1-2 shifts per week) who is capable of contributing to the growth of our team.
Previous experience as a Barista is necessary. Food Handlers Certificate A +
