THE ELK is a specialty cafe that specializes in coffee drinks of the highest quality. In addition, we serve curated breakfast and lunch items as well as offer a variety of pastries, fresh juices, groceries, and home products. Our goal is to provide our guests with a thoughtful and top-quality product offering, with service and an atmosphere that makes them feel at home.
We are seeking an experienced, motivated, and charismatic individual to join our team!
The ideal candidate has the following qualities:
– experienced in a busy cafe and fast-paced environment – specialty coffee training (dialing in, latte art, maintaining quality throughout fast paced service)
– organized and detail oriented
– fast learner and self motivated
– ability to multi task
– strong interpersonal skills
– ability to work on a team and share responsibilities
– excellent customer service skills
– possess proactive mentality
General requirements:
– 2+ years experience
– commitment of 2 to 3 shifts per week
– weekend and holiday availability required
– NYC food handlers license
