BARTENDERS for Joe’s Pub and The Library Full Time

The front-of-house management team is seeking BARTENDERS to join them in welcoming guests to Joe’s Pub and The Library, Chef Andrew Carmellini’s American restaurant and cabaret space.

Joe’s Pub at The Public is one of New York City’s most celebrated venues for emerging and established performance artists.

The Library at The Public Theater, the lounge located on the Public Theater’s mezzanine level is home to Chef Andrew Carmellini’s American menu, shared by Joe’s Pub, features a mix of classics and signatures, shareable appetizers, bar snacks, dinner plates and desserts.

Ideal candidates possess:
*A strong knowledge of spirits, beer, wine, and food.
*The ability to work quickly and provide exceptional guest service Responsibilities Include:mixing alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks per restaurants specs.
*Collecting and managing payments.
*Greeting guests in a friendly and courteous manner.
*Light food service.
*Checking ID of customers to verify age requirements for purchase of alcohol.
*Cleaning glassware, bar equipment and keeping a tidy bar area.
*Light prep of garnishes.
*Responding quickly to requests from guests in a timely and friendly fashion.
