POSITION OBJECTIVE
Create an excellent on-course food & Beverage experience for our golfers by anticipating their needs and serving them in a professional and efficient manner.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Provide food and beverage service to golfers on the course in accordance with the food and drink menu and quality standards.
Maintain cleanliness, neat appearance and sanitation of equipment and beverage cart.
Requisition supplies from club’s kitchen and storeroom, and ensure proper transfer, storage and inventory.
Comply with applicable health, alcoholic beverage, fire and other laws/requirements.
Ensure that beverage cart is operating properly. Report malfunctions to supervisor as appropriate.
Answers questions, and makes suggestions regarding food and service.
Writes order on check, as well as verify membership.
Use point of sale system.
Present checks with script and posts charges to member/guest account properly.
Daily checklists of duties.
Stocks carts to appropriate par levels.
Performs other related duties as assigned by the manager.
Other duties may be assigned as business demands.
Ensure the compliance of all cart safety guidelines and procedures are enforced at all times.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
High School diploma or equivalent required
One year previous experience as a Beverage Cart Attendant or server in a hotel/resort or private club environment.
Preferred certifications/trainings: CARE, TIPS, ServStaff.
REQUIREMENTS

High level of organization.
Must be able to communicate effectively with members, guests and co-workers, and management.
Politely and professionally handle member/guest complaints.
Basic computer and cash handling skills.
Maintain the highest level of safety and cleanliness.
Be physically able to reach, bend, and stoop.
Be able to safely lift bags, cases and stacks weighing up to 50 pounds.
Be able to work in a hot, cold, wet, humid and loud environment for long periods of time.
Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time.
Candidates in this role will be able to read, write, speak and understand English and meet minimum age requirement of jurisdiction. Communicate with staff members, resort members and guests with or without a radio.
Attention to detail. Ability to analyze and solve problems; efficiently handle multiple duties under pressure with minimal supervision.
Position requires flexibility in scheduling (AM/PM, weekends & holidays) in order to accomplish all major responsibilities and tasks.
Positive attitude, professional manner and appearance in all situations.
Frequently exposed to inclement weather conditions.
Operate golf cart equipment for several hours at a time.
Perform mathematical calculations involving fractions, decimals and percentages.
