Gotham Gym is a vibrant, face-paced, music filled, fun environment.
Our Porter Team is vital to the brand. Porters will keep the gym neat and tidy, in addition keeping the gym extremely clean.
You will be responsible for disinfecting equipment, cleaning 2 bathrooms, and cleaning the shower in between clients, vacuuming, mopping, and other general housekeeping dutites. Both interior and exterior areas will be your domain. Daily and weekly checklist will be provided to you to follow.
You must enjoy detailed repetitive work.
You will have the training to understand the gold standard of clean that Gotham Gym prides itself on.
Job Responsibilities:
Clean and sanitize restrooms/shower/office/gym floor and outdoor spaces using established practices and procedures.
Clean, dust, and wipe equipment; sweep, mop, or vacuum floors; empty/clean wastebaskets and trash containers; refill restroom dispensers.
Assist with the setup/cleanup of the gym for classes
Clean floors and surfaces using specific cleaning methods and procedures.
Mix appropriate proportions of cleaning and disinfecting agents following safety protocols.
Dust, mop and sweep restrooms, common areas, or other types of rooms depending on the scope of work.
Job requirements:
You must be comfortable wearing proper PPE.
Comfortable working with cleaning chemicals and supplies.
Must be safety-minded.
Be able to lift 25lbs.
Comfortable on ladders.
Able to follow guidelines and directions.
Must have reliable transportation.
Must have a flexible schedule.
Work well with others as part of a team.
