Cash Services Rep II Full Time

Line of business Role Description

Performs all entry level functions required at the Cash Services Rep I level under strict time constraints, including handling cash and/or checks in a secure environment for internal and external clients. Responsibilities may include: receiving deposits from armored carriers or internal departments, opening bags, verifying deposits, reviewing for fraud, preparing adjustments, crediting accounts, processing payments, sorting bills, filling currency/coin orders, preparing cash deposits for shipment to the Federal Reserve, maintaining required records, and reconciling balances. Performs deposit processing functions and reconciles out-of-balance conditions. Maintains compliance with all bank policies including state and federal regulations. Researches complex out-of-balance transactions. Provides quality service and efficient operations support. May act in a lead role in performing responsibilities. Ability to use appropriate bank systems. Equipment operation may include calculators, Opex machines, bursters, computers, currency and coin counting machines.

May be required to lift up to 50 pounds. Overtime, weekend and holiday work may be required.

As a Cash Service Representative you are the receiving associate for our cash vault. You will be responsible for, but not limited to, counting and receiving deposit bags from the armored couriers, processing key bag numbers and dollar amounts into the computer and reconciling the number of bags accepted from the armored courier. In addition, you may utilize high volume equipment to process, sort and reconcile a high volume of coin deposits. The environment in which you work is a high volume production and security monitored area. You will be required to meet production goals, meet department deadlines, and will be responsible for all logged deposits.
