We are hiring for a front end cashier with excellent customer service experience and at least 1/2 years working as a cashier at a fast paced food or restaurant establishment. We also need a cook for a small starting restaurant. We are looking for a individual that can work well in fast paced environment, quick learner, dedicated, willing to learn, works well under pressure, and excellent communicator. Experience is a plus, and experience will be based on prior skills and experience.
A Cook plans, prepares, and cooks food items to ensure the highest quality service and experience for customers. They help keep the kitchen organized and running efficiently. They ensure proper food handling, sanitation and following food storage procedures.
* Ensure ingredients and final products are fresh
* Follow recipes, including measuring, weighing and mixing ingredients
* Bake, grill, steam and boil meats, vegetables, fish, poultry and other foods
* Present, garnish and arrange final dishes
* Occasionally serve food
* Maintain a clean and safe work area, including handling utensils, equipment and dishes
* Handle and store ingredients and food
* Maintain food safety and sanitation standards
* Clean and sanitize work areas, equipment and utensils, as well as the sitting area for customers
* Execute opening and closing procedures
* Set up workstations with required ingredients and equipment
* Check the quality and freshness of ingredients
* Monitor station inventory levels
* Accommodate guests and special requests
* Operate kitchen equipment such as ovens, grills and fryers
* Assist with cashier and customer services when needed
* All other duties as assigned
Starting pay is $10 – $15 an hour, benefits are available. As the company goes that will change with excellent performance, productivity, time and attendance. We are looking for a loyal, dedicated, hard working individual who does mind working with a new business that is n the rise and growing.
