Manage all employees in department. Assists in performance management and hiring of employees within department. Hold Team Members responsible as needed to operate accordingly to department processes, procedures, and guidelines.
Responsibilities include all aspects of shipping dock operations and maintaining a well-organized warehouse.
Provide timely and accurate truck load information to Shipping Manager.
Inspect all orders prior to shipping for accuracy, quality, and proper documentation.
Enforce and apply company policy, procedures, and safety standards.
Train employees on shipping procedures.
Supervise and maintain schedules of all personnel within warehouse.
Assure Team Leads cube load for truck size by start of shift
Organize load assignments to Door Leads
Review and ensure loading accuracy, ensuring proper staff level to complete daily workload.
Assign team members for each lead, ensuring proper staff level to complete daily workload.
Process all RMA from trailer daily; check in, identify, and move to QC rack. Work with RMA Team Member to follow through on processing.
Process all returns daily and report out to Shipping Manager
Ensure all FGs are put away and scanned into locations
Train and follow up on new hires
Communicate to office loading issues and shortages
Report any discrepancies to Shipping Manager
