Circuit Associate
Company: The Concours Club sets the new standard for automotive country clubs worldwide. The motorsport facility will provide the finest of amenities and services to the members. The state-of-the-art facility will feature a technologically advanced driving circuit, a member’s lounge, restaurant and bar and multiple event venues.
Summary/Objective:
The Circuit Associate is stationed in the pit lane and provides a range of track-specific driver conveniences. The circuit side Support acts as a liaison between the members, course marshals, and rescue crews. Circuit side support is also responsible for moving vehicles around the facility.
Roles & Job Responsibilities
Park and retrieve cars, including street vehicle and track specific vehicles
Greet and interact with members in a friendly, courteous, and professional manner offer guidance to members and assist them as requested
Aid drivers in vehicle ingress/egress process, including driver gear, safety belts, window nets, mirror adjustments, aiding in a safe release, aiding in reversing, etc.
Maintain organization of the pit (cars entrance to the track, etc.) & parking area (barricades, directing traffic, etc.)
Responsible for vehicle location, transportation, and storage protocol
Report anything out of the ordinary with the vehicle and course safety
Cooperate, assist and communicate effectively with other team members in order to provide prompt service to the member(s)
Skills & Qualification Requirements
Must have the ability to get in and out of fully caged racecars and otherwise difficult entry vehicles
Previous experience in racing or high-performance vehicle shops is preferred.
Possess excellent mechanical knowledge and diverse driving skills, including manual transmissions, dual-clutch, sequential, non-synchronized transmissions, and others
Bilingual Preferred
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
Ability to verbally communicate professionally and effectively
Must be willing to work variable schedules, evenings, weekends, and work in all types of weather
Polite and confident with a great deal of patience
Must be 18 years of age or older
The ideal candidate has the skills of both a concierge and a corner marshal
Must be proficient with technological systems
Work Environment
This job is performed outdoors and experiences a high level of noise in the work environment. This job has intermittent levels of high stress.
Physical Demands
The Circuit Associate must have the ability to stand for long periods of time, lift, stoop, bend, reach and carry 40+ pounds.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
The Circuit Associate is expected to work an alternating schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
