Work you’ll do/Responsibilities
As a Azure/Cloud Solution Specialist, you will help build out and deploy a cloud solution to support enterprise clients. This will require all dimensions of cloud architecture including:
Building, migrating and testing AZURE environments and integration with other providers
Designing end to end application and data security
Integration with on-premise applications, cloud providers or other platforms
Implementing cost optimized solutions (based on usage, business requirements and budget)

Our Cloud Engineering team focuses on enabling our client’s end-to-end journey from On-Premise to Cloud, with opportunities in the areas of: Cloud Strategy, Op Model Transformation, Cloud Development, Cloud Integration & APIs, Cloud Migration, Cloud Infrastructure & Engineering, and Cloud Managed Services. We help our clients see the transformational capabilities of Cloud as an opportunity for business enablement and competitive advantage.
Cloud Engineering supports our clients as they improve agility and resilience, and identifies opportunities to reduce IT operations spend through automation by enabling Cloud. We accelerate our clients towards a technology-driven future, leveraging vendor solutions and Deloitte-developed software products, tools, and accelerators.
Qualifications Required
Bachelor-level degree in engineering, information technology, data communications, telecommunications, computer science, or equivalent professional experience and/or qualifications
Proficient experience in AZURE, Active Directory, Scripting and Managed Services.
3+ years of relevant professional experience in a large, diverse cloud environment
Ability to setup infrastructure/networks environments with Azure
Hands on experience with Cloud Azure tools including: Kubernetes, Elasticsearch, Logstash and Kibana (ELK)
Knowledge of database environments including: SQL, AzureSQL, Bigtable or BigQuery
Demonstrated experience in Windows Servers 2012/2016 Administration, DNS, Group Policy and all Windows services.
Understand cloud security for access identify management to security groups
Deep knowledge of automation scripts and tools like bash, Chef, Docker, Ansible and CloudFormation.
Understand how to deploy multi-tier application across a custom defined Virtual Private Cloud
Knowledge of how to setup and use different database types like Azure SQL, SQL Data Warehouse, Bigtable or BigQuery
Any relevant consulting, industry or technology experience
Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills
Home office location will be in Lake Mary, FL
Open to “potential” Travel – up to 25% only if required by Project or Business Leads
Preferred
AWS certification – Associate/Professional Solution Architect a plus
Experience with Linux and/or windows-based OS including virtual machines like AMI, Redhat, SUSE or Windows Server
Experience with VMware products like vRealize
Working knowledge of ITIL and/or agile methodologies
