Division 7 Construction, Inc. is a commercial subcontractor primarily focused on firestopping, waterproofing, caulking, expansion joint installation and Division 10/Specialties installation. The company is based in Birmingham, AL, but performs work across the United States. D7 is known for professional, quality work and has extensive experience in health care construction with nationally ranked General Contractors.
Our ideal candidate will have prior commercial construction experience.
Key Responsibilities, but are not limited to:
• Help to generate quality work
• Help to install exterior joint sealant
• Help to apply below-grade membranes and fluid waterproofing systems
• Help to apply traffic coatings and other elastomeric coatings
• Help to apply fluid and membrane air barriers
• Help to install expansion joint assemblies
• Help to install epoxy floor joint fillers
• Help to apply hot rubberized asphalt waterproofing
• Concrete repair
• Operate various pieces of equipment: (power tools, spray rigs, patch machines, commercial lifts and lulls, etc.)
• Follow established job site safety regulations while wearing safety equipment & maintain a safe and clean work area
• Communicate with the rest of the construction team and the customer
Required Skills and Qualifications, but are not limited to:
• Good work ethic along with common sense
• Time/material management and the ability to meet deadlines
• Ability to lift 50 LBs or over
• Travel as needed, up to 2-3 weeks at a time
• Ability to pass drug screen(s)
• Valid US driver’s license
• Punctuality
