Consultant Full Time

As a Consultant part of our Value, Quality and Safety team in Cerner Government Services you will consult with clients on service line workflow and guide them through interdependencies and design decision impacts as well as provide solution oversight, direction and expertise to stakeholders. You will drive client-specific solution configuration design to meet workflow requirements and make recommendations to clients. In scope will be to mitigate solution risks and issues and execute workflow and process improvement strategies. This role will also allow you to lead client meetings and events and drive internal team initiatives.

Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Health Care, a related field or equivalent relevant work experience
At least 4 years of software implementation work experience
Receipt of the appropriate government security clearance card applicable for your position
Due to the client contract you will be assigned, this position requires you to be a U.S. citizen
Preferred Qualifications:At least 4 years of Health care information technology (HCIT) consulting or support work experience
Expectations:Willing to travel up to 80% as needed
Must currently reside in or be willing to relocate to Kansas City, or an already virtually approved location
Willing to work additional or irregular hours as needed and allowed by local regulations
Work in accordance with corporate and organizational security policies and procedures, understand personal role in safeguarding corporate and client assets, and take appropriate action to prevent and report any compromises of security within scope of position
Perform other responsibilities as assigned
