Waste Connections has an immediate position available for aContainer Delivery Driverat our site in Opa Locka, FL. Once you have mastered these responsibilities, there would be opportunities for growth such as moving up into a route driver position.
Responsibilities include:
Drive a box truck on specified routes to pick up and deliver recycle and garbage containers to new and existing customers.
Assemble and repair plastic containers.
Ability to effectively communicate and understand needed repairs and/or tasks.
Ideal candidate will possess:
Clean driving record.
Minimum of a High School Diploma or GED.
Ability to lift at least 50 lbs.
Ability to work outside in all weather conditions.
Valid Driver’s License required.
