Conversion crew performs a variety of behind-the-scenes functions for the building like maintaining, moving, and storing staging equipment and setting tables, chairs, pipe & drape as directed.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: The following are examples of the various functions required. The job requirements are not limited to the items on this list.
Conversion from basketball to large scale concert / event.
Set-up seating arrangements and supporting furniture for concerts, basketball games, meeting, dinners, parties, and banquets.
Set-up signage, banners, and other conversion responsibilities from one event or game to another.
Installation, repair, and removal of arena equipment and seating.
Respond to requests from management, vendors, guests, event, and team representatives to move furniture, boxes, and equipment.
Set-up and breakdown barricades, tables, chairs, risers, and stages. Both at the arena and at offsite locations.
Respond and resolve set-up issues promptly as directed by fellow staff and management.
Actively care for all arena equipment and property by storing equipment properly, cleaning and repairing broken or damaged items, and alerting management of any mistreatment of company property.
May be required to operate industrial vehicles such as carts, forklifts, scissor lifts and floor scrubbers.

Maintain company confidentiality.
Always maintain a professional appearance.
High School Diploma/ GED preferred. Two years of experience preferred. Must be able to work nights weekends and holidays. Must be able to perform heavy lifting tasks up to 100 pounds. Ability to operate forklift and warehouse equipment preferred. Ability to read and understand a tape measure and other measuring devices, identify between imperial (standard) and metric fasteners, handle basic and common hand tools.
