Purpose of Position:
Del Monte Fresh Produce is currently looking for energetic, passionate individuals to join our new fresh and healthy FRSHst Café located in Coral Gables. The ideal candidate will have prior experience as a cook and preparing food while providing excellent customer service in a fast paced environment. FRSH St café is all about the healthiest and freshest high quality Del Monte Fresh Produce ingredients and quality customer service.
Accountabilities:
Responsible for cooking and food preparation
Responsible for keeping equipment operating by following operating instructions; troubleshooting, maintaining supplies, washing and sanitizing.
Ability to work in a fast-paced work environment and deliver orders in a timely manner.
Maintains a professional image at all time
Must be willing to work as part of a team and serve customers
Minimum Skills Required:
Minimum 1 year experience working within the Food industry.
High Diploma and/or equivalent from an accredited institution.
Excellent communications skills in English required.
Availability to work flexible morning and afternoon shifts.
Coffee roasting experience a plus.
Coffee Barista skills is a plus.
Valid Food safety/ food handler/ HACCP related training certificate is a plus.
Basic Food Preparation skills Sandwich/ salads/ Smoothies.
Requires ability to lift up to 40 pounds.
Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
