Corporate Chef Full Time

Pummarola is an authentic Neapolitan Pizzeria with locations all across Florida and Spain. Our sales are rapidly increasing, and so we are searching for another team member to help us provide the excellent customer service experience we strive to maintain.

We are seeking an experienced and creative individual to join our team as a Corporate Chef. Our company is full of hardworking and friendly team members who are passionate about hospitality and Neapolitan cuisine. We hope to find a like-minded individual who will flourish in their role as our Corporate Chef.

As our Corporate Chef, you will be in charge of all of our South Florida kitchens. Hiring and managing back of house employees, quality control, and ordering will all be part of your repertoire as Corporate Chef. We would love to reinvigorate our menu with new dishes, so creativity and passion are a must for this position. We ultimately want someone who is reliable, amicable, and always striving to improve the restaurants they help manage.

Responsibilities

Supervise and recruit the back of house employees of 4+ locations
Collaborate with managers to create back of house schedules for each location
Maintain quality control of the kitchens for each location
Estimate food inventory requirements and food/labor costs
Arrange for kitchen equipment purchases and repairs
Rectify arising problems or complaints
Create new and exciting menu items that align with our brand
Order ingredients from different vendors and observe any price fluctuations
Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards
Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers
Skills

Proven experience as a Head Chef or in another kitchen management position
Excellent record of back of house management
Ability to spot and resolve problems efficiently
Capable of delegating multiple tasks
Communication and leadership skills
Keep up with cooking trends and best practices
Bilingual (Spanish or Italian) is a huge plus
BS degree in Culinary Science or related certificate is a huge plus

Pay: $40,000.00 – $70,000.00 per year
