Creative Photography Intern – Paid Part Time

Want to help launch a restaurant that will change the world? Our new vegan restaurant is opening in Hallandale in mid-March, and we are looking for a Creative Photography Intern to help us achieve our dreams.

Because we’re not just going to be a regular cafe. Our chef has developed her own vegan meat proteins that are unparalleled in the space. We’ll be launching with a vegan steak and vegan chicken, followed soon after by a whole vegan butcher shop.

As our Creative Photography Intern, you will be a member of our marketing, design, and creative team to help create marketing materials while also learning about the marketing and content strategy at Better Butcher. You will be helping us immediately with the opportunities to document our chef’s dishes, create content, and help us tell our story.

Better Butcher is looking for a talented, highly motivated student or recent grad to assist in the launch of our restaurant. Over the course of this 3-month internship, you will work directly with award-winning creatives and producers on our marketing and eCommerce team.

You will gain hands-on experience across a variety of marketing platforms, primarily focused on digital marketing. We want to provide strong, rising talent with a practical and relevant experience that will grow their skillset and amplify their abilities for their career. There also may be opportunities to continue work beyond the internship time period as our restaurant and brand grow.

Interns work directly with the entire Marketing team and our chef. This internship requires 10-20 hours of work each week and will be primarily remote, with photoshoots happening in and around Hallandale, Boca Rota, and Delray Beach. It will also include a monthly stipend.

YOUR PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

Plan and execute 2-3 photoshoots each month with our chef
Develop assets for us in our marketing platforms, including but not excluding social media platforms, paid media, website, email, and in-store.
Support in the management and development of our photography and videography, ranging from project assistance to direct photo opportunities.
Collaborate with the Marketing team on social storytelling ideas.

REQUIREMENTS

Able to work both independently and collaboratively.
Access to a laptop or personal computer and a digital camera.
A portfolio of your photography
A cover letter sharing telling us what you’re excited about and your career goals at this point, and why launching a restaurant like Better Butcher would excite you.
Strong proficiency in design using Adobe’s Creative Cloud Suite
Excellent organization skills and proactiveness around file management, etc
