Job Title: Culinary Instructor for Kids Summer Camp
Job Type: Full-time, Seasonal
Duration: 10 weeks, Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 3:30 pm (sometimes 4:00 pm)
Location: Miami
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Culinary Instructor to join our team for our upcoming Kids’ Summer Camp 2023. The Culinary Instructor will be responsible for teaching, organizing, and delivering cooking classes to children between the ages of 5 and 14.
This is an exciting opportunity for Teachers who are also passionate about cooking and want to share their love of food with others.
Responsibilities:
Teach and execute age-appropriate cooking classes for children, incorporating fun and engaging activities.
Follow basic culinary skills, kitchen safety, and food hygiene to campers.
Ensure that the kitchen and cooking area are clean and safe at all times.
Manage inventory and stock levels of kitchen equipment, food, and supplies.
Maintain a positive and safe learning environment for all campers.
Requirements:
High School Diploma or equivalent is required; A culinary degree is not necessary but cooking experience is preferred.
Previous experience teaching children in a culinary or educational setting is preferred.
Ability to develop engaging and age-appropriate lesson plans.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Must pass a background check.
Salary:
The salary for this position is competitive and commensurate with experience.
