Custodial Worker 2 perform heavy manual work involving a variety of housekeeping tasks to assist in the maintenance of a variety of buildings. Duties include operating various types of automatic housekeeping equipment, cleaning restrooms and offices, removing trash, washing windows, vacuuming carpets and mopping floors. Incumbents are responsible for the use of proper methods and materials in cleaning and in caring for buildings and equipment.
Qualifications
Experience: Generally requires 0 to 3 years of related experience.
Education: High School diploma is strongly preferred.
Licensure Certification: Non-licensed worker.
Knowledge Skill Abilities: Ability to analyze, organize and prioritize work accurately while meeting multiple deadlines. Ability to communicate effectively in both oral and written form. Ability to handle difficult and stressful situations with critical thinking and professional composure. Ability to understand and follow instructions. Knowledge and skill in use of job appropriate technology and software applications.
