Full Job Description
Position is part time – 30 – 35 hours per week, most weeks (hours generally Monday – Thursday, 7am – 2pm, Friday 8am – 1pm). The position requires applicant to have his or her own, reliable vehicle.
DELIVERY DRIVER/KIDS’ FOOD SPECIALIST
Job responsibilities include lunch expediting and deliveries. Some light food prep and dishwashing.
- Prior experience working in a commercial kitchen
- Competent knife handling skills
- Must be able to work quickly and efficiently
- Attention to detail, especially achieving 100% accuracy in quantity and quality with your assigned product
- Able to physically perform requirements of job, including ability to safely lift up to 50 lbs and safely operate wheeled carts and dollies
- Works well with others and participates as part of a team
- Takes pride in maintaining a clean, orderly environment and delivering a high quality product to schools
- High level of energy and desire to be part of an entrepreneurial, fast-paced and hands-on environment
- Food Handler Certification preferred
- Applicant must be highly conversant in English
