JOB SUMMARY
The Education & Events Coordinator is responsible for assisting in the implementation and ongoing support of all digital, in-person education programs and events within our salon network. Primary functions include, assisting the Global Educators Team and the Education Team with ongoing strategies in order to remain innovative in our education offerings for both R+Co and R+Co BLEU.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Manage R+Co EDU and BLEU Digital Education calendar by creating all zoom links, managing all registration communication and keeping records of class attendance
Oversee the creation of all social marketing assets to advertise our digital education offerings
Help to monitor digital classes by participating in class and troubleshooting any technical issues for attendees and presenters, as well as fielding any questions or follow up actions needed post class
Process all EDU products orders for special guest artists and Global Educator kit orders
Help to manage payments for all educators as well as overseeing the reconciliation of the EDU studio card
Schedule in-salon and digital education classes with Field Sales Staff and/or network salons
Direct liaison between Global Educators, Product Specialists and salon clients
Liaise with Field Sales Staff to determine most efficient and cost-effective travel itinerary and manage Educator travel from start to finish, through booking airline tickets and accommodations, securing rental transportation, etc.
Manage teaching calendar for all Global Educators, ensuring most up to date information.
Facilitate conference calls between Sales Staff and Educator team prior to travel
Maintain strong relationships with Educators
Continuously research digital platforms and best practices to help keep R+Co EDU as a leader in professional education
SPECIAL EVENT DETAILS
Assist with special events (i.e. Workshops, Classes, Regional Events) on an as needed basis
Assist with model recruitment process for workshops and events and maintain positive relationships with artist and model agents
Support all internal educator trainings
QUALIFICATIONS
Undergraduate degree
1-2 years experience in a customer service, or executive assistant role
A self starter with exceptional organization and attention to detail
Strong written and verbal communication and relationship skills
Professional demeanor, polished and well spoken when communicating with internal and external clients alike
Computer Proficient: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook. Mac proficiency and familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite a plus
On call on weekends, and after hours on an as needed basis.
Ability to work under pressure
Ability to travel (including some weekends) as needed
Knowledge of salon / beauty industry a plus
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Lifting: Exerting up to 40 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body.
Reaching: Extending hands and arms in any direction.
Sitting: Must be able to remain in the seated, stationary position throughout work day.
