A successful Electronics Sales Associate:

Maintains the Entertainment area (Electronics, Wireless, and Photo Services) in accordance with company policies and procedures by handling claims and returns; zoning the area; arranging and organizing merchandise and supplies; identifying shrink and damages; ensuring a work environment is maintained in accordance with company safety policies and procedures; securing merchandise; assisting customers with warranty transactions; maintaining the operation of displays; categorizing videos, CDs, and DVDs; and signing and pricing merchandise, and securing fragile and high-shrink merchandise.

Provides Electronics, Wireless, and Photo products and services to customers in accordance with company policies and procedures by assisting customers with purchasing decisions; demonstrating, maintaining, securing, selling, and activating merchandise; offering information on service contracts and plans; resolving customer issues and concerns; and promoting products and services.

Receives and stocks merchandise and supplies from distribution centers and suppliers; and organizes and maintains the Entertainment area in accordance with company policies and procedures; utilizing equipment according to company policies and procedures; merchandising; and completing and retaining required paperwork, logs, and other documentation.

Opens or Closes the Photo Center as needed by booting up computers and equipment; performing start-up testing and maintenance of Photo Center equipment as listed in the guide; and prepping the Photo Center for daily operations (for example, stocking supplies, cleaning, organizing); completing orders and shutting down computers and equipment; performing shut-down procedures as needed; ensuring the Photo Center is cleaned and organized (for example, sweep, mop); and replenishing supply stock levels.

Operates the Photo Center by managing order flow from the kiosk, web site, mobile, and third-party applications (for example, managing order issues, network issues, priorities); changing paper and inks in equipment for product production; verifying print quality and order completion; ensuring departmental compliance with copyright laws; packaging orders and manually pricing via barcode sheets and handheld units; manufacturing and assembling wall decor products (for example, building a canvas); assisting customers on ordering via kiosk; and providing customer service throughout department and adjacent departments (for example, cameras).

Maintains the Photo Center by conducting daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance as outlined in guide, (for example, cleaning, changing consumables and parts); manually conducting inventory of supplies; placing orders based on sales trends and seasonality peaks; managing in-stock, stock rotation, and supply management; managing equipment operation and uptime; calling equipment issues into the supplier hotline; working with the phone technician to walk through repairs/fixes; dispatching a technician if the issue cannot be resolved over the phone; contacting customers with orders over 7 days old and managing a 7-14-30 day retention program; and setting monthly marketing kits and signing on kiosk and within department.

Opens or closes the Wireless Department as needed by checking that WARP kiosks and ancillary equipment are functional; conducts daily Serialized Inventory Management audits in accordance with company policies and procedures; reports exceptions to appropriate levels of management for follow-up and resolution; checking that all wireless cabinets and drawers and locked and secured and that there is not any secured wireless merchandise left on the WARP counters; ensures that all WARP contracts have been secured in the appropriate drawer and not left on the counters.

Operates equipment (for example, cash registers, related tools, WARP kiosks, Photo equipment) to process customer purchases according to company policies and procedures for different payment types and items sold.

Completes work assignments and priorities by using policies, data, and resources; collaborating with managers, co-workers, customers, and other business partners; identifying priorities, deadlines, and expectations; carrying out tasks; communicating progress and information; determining and recommending ways to address improvement opportunities; and adapting to and learning from change, difficulties, and feedback.

Complies with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity by implementing related action plans; using the Open Door Policy; and applying these in executing business processes and practices.
