With great opportunity to grow with the company and work hands on with the owners! We are looking for a chef that understands meal prepping and the industry. You will be working with high end clients as well as professional athletes. The candidate will also have to comply with the the following:
Maintain customer-driven approach to service. * Food Production: Follows standards that produce the highest quality product representing Grit Fit ideals of focusing on healthy, portion-controlled, and sustainable foods. * Assist in the preparation of daily meals according to company’s standards * Wash and clean raw food products * Peel, dice, shred, and slice food products using knives or electric equipment * Follow proper portion control guidelines * Keep work area and equipment neat and clean at all times * Store prep food properly and safely using HACCP labeling and dating * Prepare and serve food for special functions as assigned, including nights and weekends * Supports and participates in common teamwork with all kitchen colleagues * Report working well-groomed and in a clean uniform. * Ensure that there is a safe and secure environment for all * Help out in other areas when you are asked to do so by supervisors
