JOB DESCRIPTION

Who You Are:

A Chef with deep knowledge of healthy cuisine, smoothies, soups, bowls, desserts, classic dishes etc, professional kitchen experience, and a desire to teach others culinary techniques and recipes.

Someone who has experience adapting to healthy recipes into simple, digestible steps to create meals and content. You recognize the value of quality ingredients, the need for cross-utilizing ingredients when cooking multiple meals, and can be inspired by the power of technology and innovation. You have experience as a culinary trainer, or professional/personal chef that can showcase your skills to any home cook. You are creative, a team-player, and passionate about teaching home cooks the tools to become competent planners and culinary executioners.

Responsibilities:

Plan multiple healthy meal plans for audiences ranging from single individuals to full families.
Create recipes for meals that are traditionally inspired, simple in execution, balanced, and wholesome as well as execute and present the meals in a beautiful format.
Take direction from & inspire a creative technology team to develop and adapt recipes based on the technological innovations.
Develop recipes that minimize waste, while adhering to techniques both old and new i.e., cross-utilization of ingredients and techniques to create individual meals and/or meal plans that build upon themselves
Skills + Requirements:

Well-versed in the techniques and foods associated with healthy cuisine (5+ years).
Experience in a teaching role, i.e., the ability to break down recipes and techniques to sous chefs and line cooks
Understand production timelines, COGS, and menu creation.
Can plan a “production schedule” for full dinner, or multiple meals and one time.
Has familiarity with setting up and running commercial kitchens.
Has knowledge of producing commercially viable foods.
Understands the fundamentals and nuances of planning for a professional kitchen and can translate these to a practical home application, specifically recognizing the need for sourcing availability of both ingredients and tools.
A good attitude toward collaboration and healthy curiosity.
Must be available during corporate business hours
