LOCATION: Palm Beach County
POSITION: Full-time Housekeeper
HOURS: Generally: Monday – Friday with some flexibility to work a weekend day or evenings when needed during high “season” in Florida
Responsibilities:
• Daily general housekeeping, cleaning of bedrooms, bathrooms, common areas etc.
• Washing linens, remaking beds, replacing new towels
• Maintenance and care of fine furniture & linens
• Daily laundry and wardrobe care a huge plus for clients as requested
• Organization projects both in homes and at personal storage facilities
• Packing of personal items for moving or disposal as requested
• Running errands/shopping for household items including groceries, beverages or special requests
• Weekly/Monthly deep cleaning assignments according to maintenance being done in the homes
Requirements:
• At least 2+ years’ experience in high end homes or Hotels
• Previous housekeeping experience is a must
• Flexibility and a very “team-player” mentality
• Attention to detail and willingness to do whatever it takes to get the job done
• Ability to take direction and follow through with minimal supervision
• Fluent command of the English language both verbal and written
• Schedule may be varied but will be given in advance by the direct manager
• Must be willing to submit to a background check, drug testing and to sign a confidentiality agreement
• Clean driving license – US Citizen or Green Card holder
Salary and benefits:
• Hourly salary negotiable but dependent on experience. Over 40 hours per week will be paid at time and a half according to state law
• Social benefits: each employee maintains their own health insurance plan that is partially reimbursed by the employer
• Vacation: 5 paid vacation days after 1 year of employment, 10 paid days after 2 years of employment
• Year-end bonus depending on performance
