Minimum 3 years’ experience in a parts/warehouse facility. Strong computer skills (online database) required, SAP knowledge a plus. Strong customer service and communication skills required. Boat and Yacht industry experience a plus. English/Spanish a plus.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include, but are not limited to the following:
Contribute to success of Marine Parts warehouse to maintain efficiency and maximum profitability
Show great customer service through email, phone, and counter sales
Generate purchase orders for parts
Generate retail quotes and provide to customers; follow up with customer/vendors to complete order
Provide estimates of costs and lead times for internal department requests
Manage all parts requests for retail/commissioning/maintenance/warranty
Maintain a purchase and ordering policy/inventory control system to achieve an effective and accurate inventory that maximizes availability, service efficiency and customer satisfaction
Follow all safety procedures when operating any equipment, including forklift
Package/ship retail parts, warranty parts, and marketing supplies both domestically and internationally
Follow up with all orders to ensure estimate arrival is timely; communicate with customer with any updates
Stock Items in proper bins upon shipment arrival
Maintain an organized inventory storage system for parts including bin locations and part numbers; ensure this information matches inventory in SAP
Warehouse Maintenance / Upkeep – Keep counters, bins, and storage areas clean and uncluttered, promptly remove boxes and packing, sweep, mop, vacuum/dust of office area, remove trash
Maintain a proper filing system for all paperwork including invoices and boat information
Show respect and care for company equipment and property and ensure return parts are handled properly
Negotiate with suppliers for competitive pricing and delivery
Ensure proper care for department vehicle and preventative maintenance
Maintain accurate work order data entry in computer software, SAP and Lavagna
Drive to retrieve local parts and order pick ups
Support Marketing Department for warehouse, as needed
Availability for additional responsibilities during boat shows and other special events; overtime as needed
Performs other duties as assigned

Valid driver’s license required
Fork lift certification a plus
