Overview:
The Manager, Performance Management will be responsible for the execution at retail with the FL plans to achieve maximum performance in Execution, Sales, Profit, Market Share, and People objectives. This role reports to the Vice President, Performance Management Florida.
Financial Responsibility:
Accountable for own T&E
Manage Tactical budgets for Incentives and A&P
Key Outputs:
Accountable for driving end-to-end Execution/EDGE strategies to ensure goals are attained/exceeded. Drives distributor accountability. Is a champion for implementation of national EDGE standards, tools, and insights.
Identify risk and opportunities through reporting and collaboration with key stakeholders within the distributor and Diageo teams
Points of Distribution (right brand, right account with EDGE data and local insights)
Execute programming to deliver channel depletion, NSV, and market share growth in both the Strategic Accounts and Independent channels
Monitors performance accordingly with sales team leads and informs on reactive adjustments, e.g., blitzes and launch initiatives
Grow On-Premise dNSV and deliver quarterly AOP targets
Deliver Strategic Accounts and Indy Market off premise quarterly AOP targets
Performing business reviews with the VP and Director of Performance based on AOP targets with our Distributor partners
Distributor work withs, retail account calls, presentations, and key account monitoring
Responsible for developing and executing winning market share plans that enables sustainable growth as measured by Nielsen/IRI.
Must have a strong awareness of the impact of environmental, social, and legal factors as they relate to the sales process
Experience:
Undergraduate degree required and must have 5+ years of market development and selling experience with proven successes in achieving volume and profit targets
Must have field sales, distributor management experience
Must have some knowledge of financial management, including working applications of financial planning, analysis, and strategy
Must understand and apply data analysis to drive effective portfolio strategies
Understands supplier/distributor dynamics
Must be performance and process oriented to understand how to use and execute metrics to measure performance
Skillset:
Persuasive selling, negotiation, & problem solving
Complete understanding of beverage alcohol business math
Ability to seek out brand growth opportunities through the lens of flawless execution, brand marketing and financial prowess
Extremely positive; highly organized; excellent influencer; exhibits independence/needs little supervision; quick learner; and exhibits resiliency and tenacity in the face of challenge
