Summary
Immediate openings available . The purpose of this position is to assist faculty members with remote delivery equipment in the classroom during scheduled classes. The candidate is expected to be in-person, on campus, reporting to assigned classrooms on-time each day according to their schedule. The candidate will be trained on the use and maintenance of technical equipment in the classroom such as cameras, microphones, video projectors, and other audio-visual aids, and the candidate will be required to participate in mandatory trainings and begin working the week of August 24. This is a 20-hour week position. Morning, afternoon, and evening shifts are available. Interested candidates must upload their resume.
This position is required to be performed on-campus in a physically distanced setting.
Essential Functions
Arrive at least 15 minutes prior to the scheduled class start time. Turn-on classroom equipment prior to the beginning of each class. Ensure equipment is in working order and troubleshoot as required.
Serve as a liaison between the ‘Instructor of Record’ and DoIT and obtain immediate technical support or other internal services when necessary to keep a class section running smoothly.
Must provide excellent service to all university constituents with a positive attitude and follow-up on inquiries in a timely manner.
Must be available to come to campus in-person to complete assigned tasks. There is no ‘virtual’ option for this position.
Ensure students are practicing physical distancing by sitting in assigned seating areas and are wearing a face covering.
Ensure there is an adequate amount of cleaning supplies per classroom. Request additional cleaning supplies as needed by following established protocols.
Must wear a face covering during shift.

Qualifications/Requirements
High School Diploma or GED required.
Possess demonstrable knowledge of instructional technology, including but not limited to computers, projectors, screens, and connections between devices. Efficiently work with computers and technical equipment.
Must have a strong work ethic and communicate in a professional manner.
Must be punctual, dependable, courteous, and responsible.
Must be adaptable to changes in the work environment and manage competing demands.
The candidate must be assertive in enforcing classroom protocols.
Self-motivating and hard-working with a strong sense of accountability.
